RIB3D is an advanced fully automated 3D rebar measurement and analysis system designed for rapid and highly accurate geometric inspection of reinforcing bars, ribbed steels, steel meshes, rods, screws, bolts and other profiled surfaces. The system combines high resolution optical scanning with intelligent analysis software to deliver fast, repeatable and standards compliant measurements for quality control and production environments.
Developed for modern steel manufacturing and testing laboratories, RIB3D enables complete dimensional evaluation of rebar geometry within minutes, significantly reducing inspection time compared with traditional manual measurement methods. The system automatically measures key parameters including rib height, rib spacing, transverse rib geometry, pitch, ovality, diameter and surface characteristics while generating detailed digital reports for traceability and compliance documentation.
RIB3D utilises precision 3D scanning technology capable of capturing up to 800 measurement points around the circumference of the specimen, providing exceptional ovality and profile resolution.
